Sometimes I eat pistachios in a bed. And that is no good. Not only because of crumbles and mess, but because I don’t care. I took a break from blogging for a while because I basically was overdone myself. So as a healthy and happy lifestyle supporter I want to tell that it might happen again, I will need time to myself, unfortunatelly… I want to warn people that doing too much sometimes can have a negative impact to Your health and happiness. This is what happened to me – all I wanted just to stay in bed and do nothing, it was hard even to go to bathroom. But maybe this is not so interesting comparing with how I treat myself. A new way of happiness in a tiny bowl for breakfast, just before starting another hectic day…
Hemp Chia Pudding
I never been a huge fan of protein powders, because of that annoying taste of sand in all food You put that protein powder, but decided to give a try again. And this one is so different! Maybe because it is hemp, not soy, rice or pea? I don’t know, anyways, so far so good and I found it beneficial for me, so this is why I decided to share this recipe with You.
Thinking why I put additional protein into chia pudding which is already superhealthy and protein loaded, I will tell You the ugly true about life – sometimes, we having breakfast and dinner only, because we have no time to eat at all, so if this is that day You are lucky that recipe is here!
No doubt, plant based protein loaded breakfast will charge You up for really long hours, additional crunch from pistachios gives extra energy, vitamins and minerals, all good, yes? Also, worth to mention about the taste – the creaminess and that real feel pudding texture makes me feel like I am eating a real pudding, just this one is so much healthier!
Hemp Chia Pudding is perfect breakfast or quick snack when You need food on a go. Vegan protein loaded pudding tastes like real dessert and boosts Your energy levels to the moon!
- 3 Tbsp chia seeds
- 1 Tbsp hemp protein powder
- 1/4 cup plant-based milk + 2-3 Tbsp
In a small bowl mix together hemp protein powder with chia seeds and pour milk on top. Stir well to combine evenly and leave in a fridge overnight to soak.
Roughly chop pistachios and sprinkle on top before eating.
*should work with all protein powders, and some fruit gives extra taste too.
