Flapjacks, or raw snacks? Not really? When a date or some dates? If someone would ask me that I would choose dates. So many delicious food You can make! Especially snacks. Seems like most of my sweet snacks, or energy bars, or post workout rewards contain massive amount of dates, because I love it so much! If You don’t believe check Superpower Energy Balls, or my most favourite Mint Chocolate Truffles. So what is Your relationship with dates? Do You love them, or hate them? Or maybe You cannot make Your mind yet?

Good news is that I will try to introduce You into love with dates: so many shapes and types and even flavours that You even can get lost in all that variety, but I can ensure – all dates are delicious and sweet. The best thing is that You don’t need to use any type of sugars or sweeteners if You adding dates into Your food, it basically saves the day!

Raw Vegan Flapjacks

Can be easy to make! Could You believe that flapjacks can be so innocent? No dairy, no honey, and even no baking – amazing! Only three simple ingredients and You can make Yourself filling and delicious snack to grab on a go, or after workout, or maybe before workout? You will be charged up for powerful jumps and sprints of natural sugars, which actually are healthy! What I like mostly about these flapjacks that You can save a lot of time preparing insanely big batch of them, like a month in advance and freeze them in a zip-lock bags, just grab when needed and go do Your stuff!

Simple and delicious no bake vegan gluten free flapjacks are so good! Crunchy oats with creamy cashews sweetened with naturally uplifting dates.

  • 1 cup dry dates
  • 1 cup cashews
  • 1 cup oats (GF)
  1. Firstly, soak dates and cashews in cold water for at least 4 hours or overnight. 

  2. Drain dates and cashews, place into food processor and add oats. Blend everything until smooth and sticky. You probably will need to scrap walls of food processor to make sure everything is evenly blended.

  3. Finally, transfer mass into air tight container and put in a fridge or freezer.
