Almonds and tahini are the best combination so far. I found this true once discovering a secret of tahined desserts. Usually, I have a small or not so small piece of chocolate as an after-lunch treat, or with morning coffee, but I recently decided to change my lifestyle a bit, and chocolate in the morning is one of those things. No reason or calorie counting, just a new habits developing. So we will see how it will go 😀

Tahini Almond Bites in Coconut
Almond meal and sesame paste combine deliciously in these luscious vegan snack bites. The richness of tahini and the elegant almond scent makes it perfect for an everyday treat, and if covered in dreamy coconut it could be just as good gift to Your beloved one for Valentine’s Day!
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup agave syrup
- 1 cup almond meal
- desiccated coconut
In a small pan melt tahini and add agave syrup, mix to combine well. Little by little add almond meal, stir continuously to make sure mixture is even. Turn off the heat and let it cool down a little bit to be able to handle.
Scoop one teaspoon of mixture and roll into a ball in Your hands. Sprinkle some desiccated coconut and place on a plate. Continue until all mixture becomes into coconut covered bite balls. Place the plate in the fridge for at least couple hours or overnight
