Valentine’s Day Hearts

Valentine’s Day Hearts

Valentine’s Day gift always is a pack of luxury or semi luxury chocolate. Seems like same story every year, same chocolate, just different illustration on package. Maybe that chocolate is the last minute buy, or maybe selected from all heart? Who knows..? I remember one Valentine’s Day when my husband checked almost all labels in Tesco to get my chocolate I can eat. It was so sweet and kind… What is Your favourite sweetest, cutest memory about the day of love?

Therefore, this year is my time to shine on this special occasion, if it is so special? I love my hubby all year round, not only 14th of February! But my feeling and relationship does not matter now, because You have a problem with a gift – don’t want to buy last minute emergency chocolate bar and feel ashamed how lazy You are, or You can make delicious and healthy option for Your beloved one 😉

Recipe is sweet and simple, and even You are panicking what to wear to look stunning and how to cook gorgeous dinner without cooking smell soaked hair and dress I tell You – don’t worry, everything will be fine, and You don’t need to cook a romantic dinner, You can have raw pasta like Almond Zoodle Bowl and still eat it in a candle light. However, zoodles is food not a gift and for gifts here is an idea – homemade chocolate hearts, with no chocolate, but still delicious! Just free ingredients and You are done! Ingredients
  • 1 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup or agave syrup
  • 3 Tbsp cocoa
Instructions
  1. Mix all ingredients together and pour into heart shaped form. Leave in a fridge or freezer to set. So, now this, if You live in nice hot climate zone Your almond butter probably is runny and easy to combine with syrup -  lucky You, have no problem with it, but if You live somewhere where is a winter now and cold, please melt almond butter in a small saucepan and then add on syrup and cocoa.

Finally, I want to remind You that love is a constant feeling all year round, not only one day a year, and You don’t need to wait for a special date to show Your love and passion. Give a little gift or honest hug and kiss for Your partner, You will be surprised how big improvement it will give to relationships. Same as workout – every little counts, so don’t lock Your feelings deep in a heart and show that kindness, care and love, no matter what. And don’t forget chocolate hearts 🙂
